Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 27, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the canvas2notion.com website (the "Service") operated by us.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Canvas to Notion is a synchronization service that, with your authorization, reads your Canvas Calendar Feed or accesses Canvas through OAuth or a legacy API token, then uses the Notion API token you provide to create and update items in your Notion workspace.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your account, private Calendar Feed URL, and API tokens. You must provide valid connection details and keep them up to date. If a feed URL, OAuth authorization, or token is revoked or expires, synchronization will stop until you update your configuration.
4. Free Trial, Subscriptions, and Billing
We may offer a free trial period during which your account has limited features. During the free trial, the service will process up to 5 courses. At the end of the trial, continued use requires an active subscription.
- Billing: Subscriptions are managed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
- Cancellations: You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Access remains until the end of the billing period unless otherwise stated.
- Refunds: Unless required by law, fees are nonrefundable.
5. Service Availability and Disclaimer
We aim to provide a reliable service, but it may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or due to factors outside our control.
- Downtime: The Service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
- Disclaimer of Warranty: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that synchronization will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for verifying your assignments are correctly synced.
- Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or engage in misuse of the Service. You may terminate your account at any time via the dashboard; upon deletion, your stored credentials and configuration will be removed from our primary systems.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we primarily operate, without regard to conflict of law rules.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post updates on this page, and changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Contact
